Surfer Style Leather Bracelet With Antiqued Brass Findings

I received a request from a customer to handcraft a leather surfer style bracelet using antiqued brass findings instead of the silver plated findings I normally use to handcraft bracelets. Wow! I was impressed by the appearance of the finished bracelet. Using antiqued brass findings complements the black leather. Fear not. I will gladly customize this bracelet using other colors of leather I have in stock. I believe brown or red leather would also look fabulous with antiqued brass.

Weather Forecast Symbol Journaling Cards

When I was brainstorming new journaling card ideas, I realized that weather plays a large part on how people view their vacations. I did some research and then designed weather forecast symbols using CorelDraw.

In the photograph below, you will see the weather forecast symbols in black and white. These are great for general purposes.

Although the black and white version looks good, applying color enhanced the graphics and made them more appealing to a wider audience.

Round 2008 Calendar Journaling Cards With Scalloped Edges Pastels Style 2

I had an idea about the white space in the scalloped area. I decided it needed some color and I believe it has made the calendar journaling cards more eye-catching. These are identical to style one with the exception that the scalloped area is now filled with color.
